The pressed paper waist belt has the appearance of black patent leather and it is approximately 35 inches long. The inner section with the hols for placement of the buckle was broken 2-1/2 inches from the end and it is retained in place by cellophane tape. The belt is somewhat stiff, with the consistency of thin plastic, and it shows scratches.
