WWI French Model 1917 Troupes Motorisees (Tank Crew) Helmet

The helmet retains much of the exterior horizon blue paint, with the helmet showing typical spots, scratches, abrasions, and some areas of rust, with a few minor and shallow indentations commensurate with wear and use in an armored vehicle. The front of the helmet displays the Model 1915 artillery branch insignia as worn by the armored crews. The interior leather liner is present, having some holes but being intact against the corrugated aluminum backing. The leather chin strap is in place across the rear visor. Overall very good field used condition.
