WWI Cased French Binoculars

The brass body is covered with leather and the binoculars show typical signs of age and use but remain in overall very good condition. The optics are generally clear but with some minor inclusions and dust specs. The brass panels on top of the binocular body are engraved in fine script engraving with what appears to be the owner’s name on one side and, on the other side is a flaming bomb ordnance mark and what seems to be “D.F. 95 No. 7283” in script engraving. The binoculars are contained within their leather carrying case, and both the binoculars and the case have their full carrying strap.
