WWI Camouflage German Model 1916 Helmet

The model 1916 camouflage helmet is painted in the manner required by the directive of July, 1918, with large areas of field gray green, golden brown, and dark red, all divided by wide black borders. The exterior of the helmet shell shows typical scuffs, surface dirt and scratches. The interior exhibits a very faint, illegible, helmet manufacturer code. The helmet lacks the interior liner and chinstrap, but the helmet shows great character and it makes a very good appearance.
