The bayonet has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 19-1/2 inches. The blade is quite dark with patina and surface grime, with the blade having some minor pitting. The leather frog shows wear and surface flaking, but it is intact. The fabric knot is worn and a bit frayed but it is complete. Overall good field used condition.
