The tunic is constructed of a very good quality olive drab wool, with “U.S.” and Coast Artillery Corps collar disks. The left shoulder carries the multi piece wool patch which consists of a white triangle on olive wool base, this being the insignia of the 31st Brigade of the 59th Coast Artillery Corps Regiment. Below this on the left sleeve is the specialty patch of an army bugler. The interior lining bears handwritten markings. The tunic shows some typical spots and subtle tracking, but overall it is quite clean and it makes an excellent appearance. A fine example of a scarce uniform.
