WWI 2nd Division 2nd Ammunition Train Painted Helmet

A Model 1917 combat helmet with the painted insignia on the front of the 2nd Ammunition Train of the 2nd Infantry Division. The painted insignia is largely intact. The helmet has a smooth exterior finish and the exterior brown paint is approximately 80% intact. The liner and chin strap are missing.
