The cap shows soiling to the exterior as well as interior soiling from wear. The exterior wool has a few very small holes that are barely noticeable. The front displays the national colors and Saxon state colors cockades. The interior bears a date stamp, a depot stamp, and a regimental designation stamp for the 177th (12th Royal Saxon) Infantry Regiment. Overall very good field worn condition.
