Wurttemberg NCO Pickelhaube

The leather body of the helmet displays a brass Wurttemberg wappen front plate (affixed to the helmet with small screws and nuts) as well as brass front visor trim, spike, and rear spine. The shell of the body is quite clean while the surfaces of both the front and the rear visors exhibit the mottled crazing that is often seen on the leather pickelhauben. The chin strap is missing as are the national and state cockades. The interior leather liner is present, with the drawstring missing, and there is a separation of the liner at the rear, although it is complete.
