Württemberg EM/NCO Pickelhaube Unit Marked to the 127th (9th Württemberg) Infantry Regiment

The body of the leather helmet exhibits typical scuffs, cracks, and age crazing of the surfaces, but the helmet retains a very good shape. The helmet plate is secured in two holes on the front. The brass Württemberg helmet plate, the font visor edge, the removable spike top and base, and the rear spine all show an uncleaned patina. The helmet has both the Württemberg and the national colors cockades. The chin strap is present on the helmet, and the interior liner is intact. The interior of the rear visor is unit marked to the 127th (9th Württemberg) Infantry Regiment. The interior also bears the stamped size of “57”. The interior also has the scratched initials of “F.K.”. Overall very good condition.
