West German Police Holster for the Star Model B Pistol
$75.00
The black leather hard shell holster shows age and use, as well as some typical scuffing, but it is in very good used condition, with an intact leather pull strap on the interior of the holster. The reverse is marked with the serial number of the pistol. The Star Model B was a single-action semi-automatic pistol that fired the 9 mm Parabellum pistol cartridge. It was produced by Star Bonifacio Echeverria, S.A. in Spain as a derivative of the Star Model A. It was visually similar to, and inspired by, the American M1911 series of pistols, however it was mechanically different in several ways. The Model B was chambered for 9mm Luger ammunition and it was intended for export outside of Spain, being produced for 52 years from 1931 to 1983. Leftover German stocks from WWII were used by the West German Landespolizei until it was replaced by the Walther P1 pistol in 1963.
