The gilt police buckle was worn by both the members of the Water Protection Police. The buckle is in excellent condition, showing only minimal wear to the finish. The reverse bears the distinctive mark of three circles, containing the letters “FLL”, the manufacturer mark of the firm of Friedrich Linden of Ludenscheid.
