Waffenamt Luftwaffe Officer Dagger by Weyersberg

A 2nd model Luftwaffe officer dagger with a deep pumpkin orange grip with wire wrapping. The blade bears the manufacturer mark of Paul Weyersberg & Company. The blade has some spots but remains generally bright and would likely respond well to a careful cleaning. Interestingly, the blade also bears a waffenamt acceptance mark, indicating that this particular dagger was probably the property of a Luftwaffe unit. There is still faint gilt on the pommel swastika. The scabbard is the “airplane metal” gray color. The dagger is in overall very good condition.
