Very Clean Imperial German Enlisted Feldmutze

A very fine example of a field-worn enlisted ranks army feldmutze. The green wool body is in excellent used condition, without holes or any stains that are particularly noticeable. The front of the cap displays two national cockades on the red cap band and the wool cap body, both of which appear to have been on the cap for the entire time. The interior lining shows wear and use. The stitching of the lining has been lost on about 1/3 of the lining where it is sewn to the bottom interior edge of the cap. The lining is depot stamped. Overall excellent used condition.
