Very Clean 1937 Dated Army Cavalry EM Visor Cap
$650.00
A very clean example of the visor cap of a Third Reich Army cavalry enlisted ranks or non commissioned officer. The hat is a teller form visor with a top in ribbed field gray wool and a dark green wool cap band, with both the top and the band piped in the golden yellow of the cavalry branch. The patent leather visor has a few minor scrapes to the finish on the front edge. The interior is fully lined with orange issue quality cloth. The complete sweat shield remains intact. The cap interior is marked as a size 58. The leather sweat band is complete, with one tear in the rear, and the inside of the sweat band is manufacturer marked and dated 1937. The cap shows very few signs of wear. There is some evidence of wear to the finish on the interior leather sweat band. There are two or three very small spots where the exterior surface of the wool shows wear or bites but they are not holes that penetrate the full body of the cap. Overall the cap is very clean and impressive in its condition.
