Untouched and Uncleaned Army Officer Service Dagger by Alcoso with Hangers

The blade shows minor spots, smudges and scratches, but it is generally bright and exhibits visible cross grain. The ricasso bears the trademark of the Alcoso firm. The dark orange celluloid grip is without chips or cracks. The guard, ferrule and the pommel all show a dark and uncleaned patina, with some subtle speckling of the finish on the reverse side of the pommel. The scabbard similarly shows a dark and uncleaned patina. The hangers are a deluxe version, with both hanger clips marked “D.R.G.M.”. The brocade hangers show age toning, with wear to the velvet undersides, and with the hanger fittings showing uncleaned patina. Overall the dagger is in very good condition and makes a fine appearance.
