The tunic reflects the award of the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal; and a Chief Flight Surgeon wing. Assignments during General Greendyke’s career included command of the Strategic Air Command’s Regional Hospital at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington; Command Surgeon, U.S. Air Forces in Europe; and as surgeon, U.S. European Command, presiding over medical services of the Army and Navy, as well as the Air Force. Thee tunic is in excellent condition.
