U.S. Army General Purpose First Aid Kit with Contents 6545-919-6850 Dated 1970

The contents are contained within a sage green nylon bag which bears the red cross and the kit contract number, as well as the designation of “First Aid Kit General Purpose”, although the words “General Purpose” were inked over. The contents include bandages; Vaseline petroleum gauze; band aids; antiseptic solutions in small bottles; an eye dressing kit; tape; medical instruction cards; and a surgical knife. The kit bag shows signs of age but the contents remain sealed in bags, unused and unopened. The interior of the pouch is marked “ECT Corp.” and “DSA 120-70-C-1071”.
