U.S. Air Force Airborne Officer Wool Armband

A dark blue wool armband with separately sewn letters “AO”. A piece of paper affixed to the armband has the handwritten notation “Airborne Officer (A.F.). There are no attachment hooks or snaps on the armband and it was presumably fastened on the arm with a pin. Excellent condition.
