Two Named 1930’s U.S. Marine Corps Khaki Tunics with Neckties, Visor Cap, and Covers
$450.00
Both khaki cotton tunics are named in the right sleeves to “F.E. Hoffman, Jr.”. Both tunics have screw back brass eagle, globe and anchor insignia on the collars. The tunics show spots and signs of wear, but they are without holes, damage, or repairs. The tunics are accompanied by two Marine Corps khaki neckties with straight ends. Both neckties are names to Hoffman. The group also includes the enlisted Marine Corps visor cap with removable cotton khaki cover. The full leather sweatband is intact, with the underside of the sweatband being manufacturer marked and dated 1938. The front peak has a large brass eagle, globe and anchor insignia. The hat, like the tunics, exhibits wear and use but overall it is in very good used condition. Also with the group are two khaki visor cap covers, one of which has a small hole in the top.
