Tropical Army Panzer Grenadier Overseas Cap

Tropical green cotton overseas cap with tropical machine woven eagle and national cockade, both machine sewn to the exterior of the cap but not through the lining of the cap. The front of the cap carries the green branch of service soutache indicating a panzer grenadier. The soutache is correctly applied to the cap with the lower ends extending through holes in the front flap. The cap has a brown enamel ventilation grommet on each side. The interior of the cap is lined in red cotton and is stamped with the manufacturer name of “F. Weissbach”. The cap shows wear and use, particularly to the cockade insignia on the front, but overall the cap is in very good field used condition.
