Third Reich Schutzpolizei Police NCO Shako

The NCO shako is in very good condition, with light age crazing to the front visor and some very minor moth effects to the wool body, neither of which is distracting. The shako is complete with removable cockade and chin strap. The interior dome of the shako bears the manufacturer decal of the Hans Romer firm. The leather liner is complete, though lacking the drawstring. The underside of the liner bears the manufacturing date of 1938, on top of which was stamped the Police issue date stamp of “PO 1940”.
