Third Reich Red Cross Officer Dagger

A Third Reich dagger for an officer of the German Red Cross. The pommel and guard have excellent and intact plating of the surfaces. The celluloid grip is a fine pumpkin orange color. The pommel screw is nicely positioned and tight, as are all of the dagger components. The scabbard has detailed pebbling to the surfaces and the plating on the scabbard is bright and complete. The blade has a bright ricasso and there are some small “pepper spots” at the point of the blade on each side. While some areas of the blade are nearly mirror-bright with visible crossgraining, other areas of the blade on each side show runner wear with fine scratches.
