Third Reich Police NCO Sword by Paul Weyersberg & Company

The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 37 inches, with a blade length of approximately 31 inches. The matte finish blade shows spots and verdigris but overall it is generally clean. The ricasso bears the maker mark of the firm of Paul Weyersberg & Company. The grip shows age, with wear to the finish, but it is without chips or cracks. The ferrule is dark with patina and surface rust, with the oak leaves showing good detail. The nickel finish on the guard and the pommel shows patina and speckling of the finish. The throat of the scabbard similarly shows uncleaned patina, while the scabbard itself shows scuffs and abrasions, with the paint being approximately 90 percent intact.
