The portepee has a blue gray leather strap, with the interior side marked “L.R.A. 37”. The portepee has a red leather slide with a cloth knot having a red top, a gray body, and a gray insert, reflecting service in the 2nd unit of the 2nd battalion. The portepee is in near unused condition, with the gray wool insert having a hole in the material. Overall excellent condition.
