The blade is very bright, showing typical spots, scratches, and surface grime. A green felt washer is in place at the top of the ricasso. The black Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The guard shows a spot of pitting to the reverse side where it would have been in contact with the leather frog. Otherwise, the guard and the pommel are bright, showing some scratches and patina. The black scabbard paint is largely intact. The frog shows wear and age crazing. Overall very good condition.
