The sawtooth blade is generally quite bright, showing typical spots as well as some surface grime and traces of old oil. The ricasso is marked “Solingen”. The leather washer is in place at the top of the ricasso. The grip plates are without chips or cracks. The pommel and the guard exhibit some subtle speckling of the plated surfaces, with the plating showing wear at the end of one quillon. The scabbard has some paint loss on the lower front. The frog is in very good condition.
