Third Reich Fire Police Identification Book

The identification book was issued in 1934 to Josef Hummes, who was born in 1892 and whose profession is identified as “Schlosser” (metalworker). The book further reflects that Hummes served in World War I from 1915 to 1918 as a Lance Corporal (Gefreiter) in a signals unit. The first page of the book is detached, with the other pages remaining affixed inside of the book.
