The base of the spoon is engraved with a swastika within a wreath, The reverse is maker marked and marked with the name of the hotel. “Der Deutsche Hof” was the hotel in Nuremberg where Adolf Hitler would stay while in that city for the Nuremberg Rallies or on other occasions.
