The badge commemorated the Saar Plebiscite on January 13, 1935. The badge is approximately 1-1/4 inches long. The reverse bears the designer name of A. Bernd jr. and the manufacturer name of F. Mannheim in Kaiserslautern. The enamel is without chips or cracks and overall the badge is in excellent condition.
