Thailand Guide Book for Communist Terrorist’s Weapons

Card covers, undated, but probably circa 1968. Approximately 5 inches by 7-1/2 inches. The book is in the Thai language, including the page numbers. The first interior page bears the name stamp of “Lt. John A. Bennett” with his handwritten notation of “Produced by CSOC Interrogation Center under my direction / advise”. The “CSOC” was the “Communist Suppression Operations Command”, established in 1965. Soldiers under the direction of the CSOC (later the “Internal Security Operations Command”, or “ISOC”) were based in temporary army camps and traveled to local villages in search of people whose names appeared on a blacklist of “known” Communist Terrorists (so-called CTs) and Communist Party of Thailand (CPT) sympathizers.
