SS EM/NCO Service Dagger RZM M7/14 (R D. Luneschloss) with Hanger

The dagger blade is generally quite bright, showing spots and typical runner marks but without stains or nicks and making an overall excellent appearance. The motto retains burnishing which makes a fine contrast. The reverse side of the blade has the RZM code on the ricasso of the firm of R D. Luneschloss. The guards show minor spots of lifting of the plated finish. Set into the grip is an aluminum political eagle with very good detail. The enamel SS runes button is straight and it is without chips or cracks. The wood grip itself shows a few minor indentations from carrying wear, but it is also without chips, cracks or damage. The gloss black paint of the scabbard is generally complete and intact, showing only some scratches. Attached to the scabbard ring is the black leather hanger. The hanger shows wear and use, but it is supple and the hanger is complete and intact. The reverse side of the hanger is marked with impressed SS runes and what appears to be the number “40”. The clip and buckle on the hanger show some wear of the nickel plating. Overall the dagger is in very good condition.
