SS Allach Young Lying Goat (Allach Model No. 102) Porcelain Figurine

The young mountain goat in a laying position was SS Allach figure number 102, designed by Professor Theodor Karner. The figuring is approximately 4-1/4 inches long and 3-1/4 inches high. The base is marked with Professor Karner’s name and the green SS Allach porcelain mark, together with the figure number of “102”. There are two tiny and barely visible recessed spots on the tip of the ear, and these do not appear to be any sort of damage but, rather, inclusions in the mold where dirt settled in the recesses over the years. Overall the figurine is in excellent condition, without chips, cracks or damage and it makes an excellent appearance. The figurine is a fine and beautiful example of the delicate high quality porcelain that was the SS Allach piece.
