The group includes Hardwick’s Spanish War Campaign Medal, lacking the pin suspension and with the edge numbered “11720”, a Philippine Insurrection medal, with full wrap brooch suspension and with the edge marked “No. 32642”; the New York State Spanish American War Medal, with intact pin suspension; the membership badge of the United Spanish War Veterans; the World War I Victory Medal, without pin brooch; and the New York State World War I Service Medal, with intact pin brooch suspension. The group further includes Hardwick’s Honorable Discharge document and a 1927 General Orders document which sets forth a chronology of Hardwick’s service. The group also includes a large horizontal format group photograph, approximately 6-1/4 inches by 15 inches, with tape repairs to the reverse and nearly separated in the center.
