WWII Japanese Signed Silk Flag To A Fighter Pilot

This flag measures 27″ X 39″ and has its corner reinforcements. The red sun exhibits a few splits in the silk but is overall in very good condition. I had this flag translated in Japan, the translator said that the owners name was “Mr Kato Tomo” and that he was a “Shield Of The Sky” which was the Japanese term for fighter pilots. Also displays the mottos ” Airman Spirits”, “Conquer The Air” and “You Swallow The Enemy”.
