Single Decal Luftwaffe M42 Combat Helmet by Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke

The exterior textured blue gray paint is largely intact, showing typical spots, scratches, and surface grime. The Luftwaffe eagle decal is toned and almost completely intact. The interior side of the helmet bears the mark of “NS 64”, reflecting a size 64 helmet shell that was produced by the firm of Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke. The interior leather liner exhibits wear but it is intact and complete with the drawstring. The leather chin strap is also present, showing wear and with the tip of one side being torn away and attached to the buckle, but the chin strap is complete – although torn. Overall the helmet is in very good field used condition.
