Single Decal Luftwaffe M40 Combat Helmet by F.W. Quist

The helmet retains approximately 95 percent of its textured blue gray combat paint, with the exterior showing typical spots and scuffs from wear in the field. The Luftwaffe eagle decal is toned with age to a golden hue and it is approximately 90 percent intact. The interior side of the helmet has the mark of “Q64”, reflecting a size 64 shell produced by the Quist firm. The full leather liner is present and intact, although showing wear and lacking the drawstring. The full chin strap is in place. Overall excellent condition.
