Signed Portrait Engraving of A-H with US GI Annotated Envelope

The engraving is approximately 9-7/8 inches by 12-5/8 inches. The engraving depicts a portrait of Hitler by K.J. Bohringer, and engraved by Franz Hanfstaengl of Munich. The engraving bears a printed signature of Adolf Hitler, above which is the actual signature of Hitler in ink. The print shows some age toning and spots, but it is in excellent condition. The print is within an envelope of the “Landgericht Weiden (Oberpf.)” (the Regional Court of Weiden in the Upper Palatinate region), with the printed declaration of “Frei durch Ablösung Reich!”. On the reverse side of the envelope is the handwritten notation in English of “Find enclosed one A. Hitler’s signature”. The envelope shows age and tears, but it is generally complete and intact.
