Approximately 3-1/2 inches by 5-1/2 inches. The wartime signed photograph depicts Hitzfeld as an Oberst, wearing a “Crusher” cap, with the Knight’s Cross and Oak Leaves. The Swords were apparently awarded as of May 9, 1945, the day of Germany’s surrender in World War II. Excellent condition.
