Schutzpolizei Police Officer Shako by Erel

The exterior blue gray wool body of the shako is without stains or holes and shows only some light wear to the wool nap. The bullion cockade exhibits age toning, while the police eagle front plate and the pebbled fish scale chin strap both show an uncleaned patina. The front plate is a finely detailed officer quality example. The leather top and the visor are very clean and without cracks or crazing. The full leather and silk liner are intact, beneath which is a large decal in the dome reflecting production by Erel. Overall excellent condition, with the shako making a very fine appearance.
