Scarce SA Marine Visor Cap
$975.00
A very fine example of a quite scarce piece of Third Reich headgear: the visor cap of a member of the Marine section of the Storm Troops. The cap is dark blue wool with a black leather visor and black leather chin strap. The front of the cap carries a gold bullion wreath with the model 1927 political eagle. The interior of the cap has a full diamond sweat shield with an image of the SA rune and the name of a Berlin maker. The cap has some signs of wear, with the buckles on the chin strap exhibiting rust and some broken threads on the bullion wreath. Overall, however, the cap remains in very good used condition. A fine example of a very rare cap that displays quite well and exhibits tremendous character.
