The paint on the iron core is largely intact, showing signs of age as well as verdigris. The suspension ring is marked “122”, reflecting production by the firm of Jean-Jacques Stahl . The silver frame shows excellent detail and a fine, uncleaned patina. The ribbon exhibits age soiling. A scarce maker with the Iron Cross in overall very good condition.
