The badge is the second pattern, in use between 1935 and 1939. the badge has a darkly toned bronze finish. The reverse is numbered “527486” and it bears the identifying designation of “Eigentum d. S.A. Sportabzeichen Hauptstelle” (“Property of the SA Sports Badge Head Office”) along with the name of the Schneider firm. The badge has a needle pin with a safety catch. Good condition.
