SA Service Dagger RZM M7/42 (W.K.C.) with Hanger

Both sides of the bright blade show typical runner marks, with visible crossgrain on the blade, while the obverse motto retains its interior burnish. The wood grip shows some minor scratches and is without chips or cracks. The grip is inset with an aluminum eagle which has very good detail. The enamel SA runes button is also without chips or cracks. The guards fit the grip tightly and bear an uncleaned patina while showing some slight speckling of the finish. The scabbard finish shows age and chips but would rate at about 95% original paint. The scabbard fittings show surface grime and patina. The leather hanger is worn, with cracks and scuffs, but it is intact. The hanger clip shows a loss of some plating and it is maker marked by the Assmann firm.
