SA Group Nordmark Rottenfuhrer Brownshirt with Black Trousers

The group consists of an SA brown cotton twill shirt which has a multi piece NSDAP armband machine-sewn to the left sleeve. The right shoulder has an enlisted and NCO ranks SA shoulder strap with a dark green base.  The collar carries a dark green collar tab with 2 stripes for the rank of Rottenfuhrer on the left side, while the right side has a dark green collar tab embroidered “11/ 12” (indicating “Sturm”, or Company “11”, in “Standarte”, or Regiment, “12), both being correctly machine-sewn to the collar. The embroidery on the collar tabs was done in white thread on dark green which, together with the silver colored buttons, identifies the shirt as having been worn by an SA Rottenfuhrer in Gruppe Nordmark.  The shirt has large nickel plated steel buttons on the front, on the pocket flaps, and on the cuffs, with the buttons on the cuffs having relief political eagle and swastika designs. There are five brass belt support hooks and a loop are along the waistline. A 1931 dated tinnie is pinned to the left pocket, with a few quite small holes which suggest that others had also been attached. The tinnie is for the Gauparteitag in Wien, with the designation of “Hitler Bewegung”, or “Hitler Movement”. Also included with the shirt is a pair of unmarked black wool trousers with suspenders. Both the shirt and the trousers show relatively light light wear, with no noticeable damage, and the shirt and the trousers are in overall very good condition.
