Record of a Liebstandarte SS Officer in the Flak Service
$125.00
The document is approximately 8 inches by 11-1/2 inches. The document appears to have been prepared by the office of the inspector of Flak artillery and it relates to the service of Kurt Paul Christian Liebau, whose rank is given as Hauptmann, a Luftwaffe rank. However, the reverse side of the document has a space for the listing of awards, and the two that are listed are the “Armelstreifen ‘Adolf Hitler'” and the “Sturmabzeichen”, both awarded in January of 1941. The “Armelstreifen ‘Adolf Hitler'” is the SS “Adolf Hitler” cuff title of the Liebstanbdarte. The “Sturmabzeichen” was the General Assault Badge.
