RAD Reichsarbeitsdienst Labor Service Officer Dagger by Alcoso

The blade is generally bright, with some spots and smudges but without nicks or chips. The RAD motto is nicely etched onto the blade and, characteristically of the Alcoso examples, the tops of the letters in the motto extend into the blade groove. The leather washer is in place at the ricasso. The guard, ferrule, and pommel all show an uncleaned patina together with bubbling of the plated surfaces. The celluloid grip plates have toned to an off white color and they are without chips or cracks. The scabbard is straight, showing some loss of plating to the fittings.
