RAD Labor Service Enlisted Ranks Tunic

The tunic displays the shoulder straps of a Volunteer Arbeitsmann, with the collar tabs reflecting a rank between Untertruppfuhrer  to Vormann between 1942 and 1944. The RAD unit sleeve insignia is on the left sleeve above a Nazi Party armband with a fully machine woven white disk and swastika on the red cotton armband. The tunic is constructed of service quality wool and it retains all four belt hooks. There is a “L” shaped repair of a tear on the top left rear shoulder. The tunic shows age and use, but aside from the exterior shoulder repair, it is without holes or damage. The interior of the tunic bears issue stamps as well as the manufacturer’s name.  Overall the tunic is in very good condition and it makes a fine appearance.
