RAD Labor Service Enlisted Hewer by Eickhorn

The large enlisted ranks hewer worn by a member of the Third Reich Labor Service, this example having been manufactured by the firm of Carl Eickhorn. The hewer is in very fine condition. The horn grips are without chips or cracks. The blade is bright with a nice contrast to the motto. There are the typical light scratches and the usual in-and-out marks from the removal and reinsertion of the blade into the scabbard. Overall, though, the blade is bright and it is without cracks, nicks, or pitting. The fittings of both the hewer and the scabbard are similarly bright and in excellent condition. The black paint on the scabbard is essentially 100% intact.The hewer is in overall excellent condition and presents in a very impressive state of preservation.
