RAD Labor Service Commemorative Stein with Choral Motif

The half liter glazed pottery stein is approximately 4-1/2 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The lid bears a relief image of a RAD enlisted man in uniform and “Robin Hood” cap. The thumb lift is in the form of the RAD spade and wheat shafts emblem. The exterior has a choral motif design, with the words “Grussgott mit hellem Klang” (“God’s Greetings with a Bright Sound”) and “Heil Deutschem Wort und Sang” (“Hail German Word and Song”). The stein is in excellent condition and it is without chips or repairs. The base is maker marked.
